In 2013, we came together with our family for the first time to the Bieszczady Mountains from our beloved Upper Silesia region. Honestly, apart from meeting old friends, a few walks and taking interesting photos, we didn’t expect much. But we fell like a plum into a compote (or rather like a pine cone into a fleece …). First of all, we were amazed by the People, who live here according to values that are more and more often in vain in the “city”. Of course, we were also touched by incredible nature, which still has its truly wild character here. And last but not least by a local beer, which in combination with clean air gives quite a solid kick 😉

We fell into the Bieszczady Mountains

so deep that after a few years we decided to buy some land here and build a house, “with a little help from our friends”. A house made of wood, ecological materials and with respect to local architectural customs. And this is this house that we want to share with you. And why did we call it “Into the Wild”? Because Bieszczady Mountains are probably one of the last wild regions in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
